Maroulis company has hygienic products and occupied in tile import. After a long-year activity in this field, the company decided that it is high time to be re-positioned in the Greek market. That decision led the company in contacting us so the implementation process begins. Our suggestion was rebranding in order company's values and philosophy to be presented the best way while opening the road for a new era in which the company would show its new ‘face’.
The logo and brand identity
Our research about the design of the logotype’s design that would represent the company and its products led us to the design of a simple linear icon with contents that combined in the ‘body’ of a square. Those contents are the initial ‘M’ of the company’s name, the shape of a tile and the curve in the middle that refers to hygiene products. In addition, the curve in the middle of the icon looks like a smile. That way we tried to communicate the friendly approach that employees have, but also to give a ‘fresh’ approach to the logo. We used white and deep blue colours to highlight the sense of ‘freshness’ because of the water. Additionally, we create for the company the brand identity as substantiation of quality and by made business cards –that made by two cards stuck one against another, specific papers and silkscreen print– folders and writing papers.
In order for us to create the business brochure, we had to appreciate the values and services of the company. So we have designed a brochure with deep blue cover and pages that include clarifications and images of each service making the reading easier to every reader that way.
